goes out to all of those who made my "Christmas in February" party a success. I had fun, and I hope other people had fun - speaking of which, I kept asking people if they were having fun. I remind myself of that episode of Friends in which Monica tried to entice the other "friends" into hanging out at their apartment (which was actually Joey and Chandler's), and in the end, she has this one line, "I'm always the hostess"...and it's funny, because I am! But I enjoy being the hostess, and that might actually genetic. My dad once told me that my mom used to have parties all the time... it's kind of scary if I think about it too hard - I'm turning into my mom! Wait, I'm okay with that, because my mom's cool.

But enough about that... Now I have to face reality! There's actual work to do that I haven't done...at all!

Speaking of which, I have overdue books! Crap! I better renew them right now!
